Imaging Optics
Our imaging optics solutions are used in mobile and smart phone cameras, which put a premium on high-performance, compact, yet aesthetically-pleasing lenses. With no barrel or mount, our products enable a very small form factor. By utilizing a high level of integration during our manufacturing process, where we integrate the system aperture, stray light controls as well as the infrared cut filter all on a single glass wafer, we produce a very compact and simple-looking product. Our lenses also have features, such as reflowability and no-focus requirements, that save manufacturers time and money in the assembly process. The reflowability of our imaging optics products means they can be integrated directly into a manufacturer's assembly line process and our no-focus lens saves them the step of having to refocus the lens after assembly, thereby streamlining the overall manufacturing process.
In addition to their use in mobile phones, our imaging optics products can also be used in other applications that require cameras, such as mobile video conferencing or in medical equipment that requires tiny cameras. Our wafer-level technology also enables our components to be incorporated into computational cameras, the next-generation of cameras - enabling features such as 3-D vision, night shots, and refocusing.
