Our advanced micro optics are employed in a wide variety of applications for smart phones, mobile devices and other devices that require miniaturized, yet very precise optical solutions. For example, in smart phones, our light optics are used for LED flash applications. Our light optics are also utilized as optical interconnects to transport data through supercomputers and telecommunications equipment and to miniaturize solutions for near-infrared beam shaping and detection as needed, e.g. in gaming applications. Our sensing optics can be used for ambient light and proximity sensors enabling smart phones and mobile phones to intelligently interact with their environments. Our imaging optics are used for primary and front-facing cameras. Our products can also be used in interactive gaming and medical device applications. Heptagon provides customized designs with an emphasis on high performance and manufacturability, offering product lifecycle management as well as total solutions. Product assembly, packaging and testing are undertaken in-house or with efficiently managed partners.
