TechnologyOur micro optics design and wafer-level process technology enables high volume manufacturing of extremely precise, miniaturized optical solutions. By applying our proprietary design and processes to develop micro-optics solutions, we are able to increase the performance, reduce the form factor and improve the aesthetics of electronic devices, such as smart phones. We also enable design flexibility and lower system costs for our customers. For example, a key benefit of our technology for our customers is the reflowability of our wafers. Reflowability allows integration of micro-optics solutions directly on the PCB before running the lenses and modules through the assembly process. This simplifies and lowers the cost of manufacturing compared to traditional pick-and-place of the lens assembly, which requires the manufacturing process to be interrupted for the assembly to be physically placed into the device. By controlling the end-to-end development of our products from the design of our micro optics solutions to the manufacturing of our products, we are able to develop technologies that ensure the solutions we create can be manufactured in high volume with consistent quality.
